Physiotherapist Photographer: Product Photography for Pelvipro

Creating impactful images for innovative products is always a rewarding challenge, and my recent project for Pelvipro was no exception. Designed by a physiotherapist to alleviate lower back pain, Pelvipro combines functionality with portability—key themes that I aimed to highlight through a diverse range of photography styles.

Highlighting the Physiotherapy Connection

Pelvipro was developed by a physiotherapist, making it a valuable tool for both professionals and patients seeking relief from lower back pain. As a photographer working across many healthcare professions this physiotherapy projects was fun to be involved in and I created imagery that connects directly with this audience. From showing the device in use during exercises to positioning it as a practical tool for rehabilitation, the photos capture its relevance in the physiotherapy field.

Showcasing Everyday Use in Real-Life Settings

To demonstrate how Pelvipro fits seamlessly into daily life, I created a gallery of images featuring models using the device in various home settings. From pairing it with fitness equipment like yoga mats to placing it on an office chair or a bedside table, the photos emphasise its versatility and ease of use. Capturing these scenarios helps potential customers visualise how the product can integrate into their routines.

Emphasising Portability for On-the-Go Use

Pelvipro’s portability is one of its standout features, so I photographed it in multiple locations to emphasise this benefit. Whether tucked into a shopping bag in the boot of a car, set up in a home office, or stored in a bedroom, the images convey how easily the device can travel with users. This approach highlights not just the product’s functionality but also its convenience for busy lifestyles.

Studio Shots for a Professional Finish

For the final touch, I brought Pelvipro into my home studio to capture crisp, clean images on a contrasting blue background. Using 3D Styling Studio Blocks, I created dynamic compositions that showcased the product and its packaging from multiple angles. I also used lighting gels to create a patterned stream of light to give it some depth and texture. These shots are perfect for use on websites, marketing materials, and social media campaigns, giving the brand a polished and professional look.
