After 11 years together, Helen and Simon made it official with a heartfelt ceremony in the heart of the city—at Leeds Civic Hall, one of the most iconic wedding venues in Leeds.
I joined them for the ceremony, then we stepped outside for a few classic portraits on the grand Civic Hall steps and nearby Millennium Square. From there, we made our way to Shears Yard—a rustic-meets-industrial private dining restaurant tucked away in The Calls, Leeds’ city centre. With its steel beams, exposed brick and high ceilings, it was the perfect setting for a relaxed and stylish celebration.
Just across the road is the bold, graphic mural ‘You & Me & Me & You’ by artist Anthony Burrill—a striking and meaningful spot for any couple tying the knot in Leeds.
