SELECTED WORK

Websites I’ve designed and continue to look after.

A closer look at some of the businesses, what they needed and what I created for them.

Turkish Restaurant

Efendy

The brief was to create a website that really reflected Efendy and the experience of visiting the restaurant. I spent a day with the team in Skipton, getting to know the business and photographing the things that make it special — the food, the people and the warm, inviting atmosphere.

I then built the website around those three elements, using my photography throughout to give visitors a genuine feel for the restaurant before they arrive. Not long after the new site launched, Efendy was named Restaurant of the Year at the 2025 Skipton Business Awards.

I continue to look after the website, making changes when needed and providing hosting, maintenance, performance optimisation, security and daily cloud backups.

Bespoke furniture

Tom Maxwell

Tom is one of my longest-standing clients, and over the years I’ve worked with him on everything from his logo and website to photographing his team at work and the furniture they create.

His projects range from bespoke kitchens and walk-in wardrobes to home bars, cabinetry and fireplace surrounds. I’ve photographed both the making process and the finished furniture in people’s homes, building up an extensive collection of images to showcase the craftsmanship and attention to detail behind each project.

I designed the website around that work, collaborating with a copywriter on the content and creating a private customer portal where clients could log in, view their designs and follow the progress of their commissions.

It’s a good example of how photography, branding and web design can work together to tell the story of a business.

Italian Restaurant

Capri

I’d previously photographed two restaurants in the Capri group, so when the Chapel Allerton restaurant opened, I introduced myself to the new manager and we discussed creating photography and a website for the business.

I photographed the restaurant interiors, food, staff preparing dishes and serving drinks, along with customers enjoying their meals. These images helped give the website a welcoming feel and show what visitors could expect when they arrived.

I then designed and built the website, adding the restaurant’s menus, a booking enquiry form and a takeaway ordering option for collection. The result was a straightforward, easy-to-use website that brought together the food, atmosphere and practical information customers needed.

Spanish Restaurant

El Bareto

My work with El Bareto, a Spanish restaurant in Chapel Allerton, began with a virtual tour and interior photography several years ago.

I later returned to discuss creating a new website, bringing together fresh photography of the food, restaurant interiors and the team behind the business. I also redesigned the logo to give everything a more consistent look.

The website is deliberately simple, with the photography doing much of the work. It’s designed to capture the character of the restaurant, showcase the food and make it easy for customers to find the information they need.

PHOTOGRAPHY & DESIGN

Great websites need great content.

Photography isn’t an add-on I have to outsource. As a commercial photographer I can create the images the design actually needs – your people, premises, products, interiors or food – and build the site around your business rather than generic stock imagery.

HOW IT WORKS

From first conversation to a finished website.

I keep the process straightforward and work with you throughout, from understanding what you need and gathering the content through to launch and ongoing support.

01 – Understand

We talk about your business, your customers and what the website needs to achieve. This can be one to one discussions or over the phone.

02 – Create

We work out what content is needed. You provide the information about your business and I can create the photography and visual content where needed.

03 – Design & Build

I bring everything together, designing and building the site in WordPress to work across desktop, tablet and mobile.

04 – Launch & Care

I get the site live, host it and continue to look after maintenance, security, backups, support and future changes.

AFTER LAUNCH

I don’t disappear once your website goes live.

My managed hosting and support keeps the essential technical work in the background, while giving you somebody to contact when the website needs attention.

Premium WordPress tools and licences are included as part of my managed service.

PRICING

Start with what your business actually needs.

Every project is different. A straightforward business website can start from £1,250, with additional pages, photography, e-commerce and more involved functionality quoted around the project. We’ll start with a conversation about what you’re trying to achieve, then I’ll give you a clear cost before the work begins.

FAQs

A few things clients usually want to know.

What do I need to provide for my website?

You know your business better than anyone, so I’ll need some information about what you do, your services and your customers. I’ll help you work out what’s needed and how best to present it. I can also create the photography and other visual content where required.

It depends on the size of the project and how much content needs preparing. A straightforward business website can usually be completed within a few weeks once the content is available. I’ll discuss a realistic timescale with you before we start.
