ABOUT ME
I’m lucky to have three special girls at home, my two daughters & life partner, Helen.
Working across both photography and design projects helps me stay fresh and creative, bringing new ideas into everything I produce.

Building Dreams
I’ve loved being creative from an early age. One of my earliest memories involves proudly taking credit for a scribbled drawing on the living room wall… created by my sister. I wasn’t exactly praised for it, but it sparked a lasting appreciation for creativity and visual storytelling. That early curiosity grew from sketching into sculpting, and eventually evolved into photography and design.
My unusual first name, Bevan, comes from a Welsh surname. Although both my parents and I were born in England, our family roots sit close to the Welsh border, and Bevan was my gran’s maiden name. I was born in Headingley, Leeds, and have stayed closely connected to the area ever since.
I studied at Leeds College of Art, where we were still working in darkrooms, and from that point on, a camera has never been far from my side. I later went on to Sunderland University, earning a degree in Electronic Media, exploring everything from web design to animation. Since then, I’ve worked as a freelance photographer and designer across Leeds and the UK, continually developing my skills to keep pace with an ever-evolving industry.
I shot my first commercial project in 2007, and in 2013 I became a Google Trusted Photographer, allowing me to bring Google Street View inside businesses across the UK. In 2015, Helen and I welcomed our first daughter – giving me my very own (and often very patient) model to photograph.
Meet my 2 daughters – Ezrae & Zeren
A huge part of my life and a constant source of inspiration. When I’m not working, they keep me busy and provide a constant stream of happiness to my life with Helen.
Outnumbered
In 2015 Helen and I had Ezrae, and in 2020 we welcomed Zeren – a house full of girls that I wouldn’t change for anything. They occasionally feature in my work too, helping bring a natural, relaxed feel to certain shoots.
