Dental Practice Photographer -Leeds Clinic Primley Park Dentistry

Over the years, I’ve photographed a wide range of dental practices – from city centre clinics to family-run suburban surgeries. My work has taken me across the UK for Portman Dental Care and other independent practices like Far Headingley Dental Care, R Dental, Gunn Dental Care, and King Lane Dental (now part of Bupa). But few clinics have brought me back quite as often as Primley Park Dentistry in Alwoodley, North Leeds.

I first visited Primley Park Dentistry back in 2014 to create a Google Maps virtual tour – one of the early adopters of this now-standard feature in private dentistry marketing. Since then, I’ve returned multiple times to capture new portraits, patient interactions, branding images, and even used my own daughters to help model their child-friendly facilities.

Capturing Day-to-Day Care – Latest Visit

My most recent visit focused on relaxed, real-life photography – no headshots this time, just a gallery of images showing what it’s like to walk into Primley Park Dentistry as a patient. The brief was to highlight the warm relationships between staff and patients, showcase the light-filled interiors, and underline the clinic’s family-friendly approach.

Photos included patients chatting at reception, sitting in the calming waiting room, and being guided through treatments – including a trip into the X-ray machine. Staff were also photographed demonstrating brushing techniques with one of the large dental models, offering a great opportunity to show their gentle, educational approach.

A Child-Friendly Practice – With Familiar Faces

As part of the shoot, I brought in some trusted models: my daughters, aged 4 and 9 at the time. They helped demonstrate the use of the play area and were happy to pose with staff showing them how to clean their teeth – helping add an extra level of relatability for parents browsing the website. The result? Natural, joyful images that reflect the clinic’s commitment to younger patients.

Previous Visit – Headshots & Portraits

This shoot followed a previous visit where we focused more on formal and environmental portraits of the team. It’s always valuable for dental practices to update their headshots as their teams grow or change – and having returning clients like Primley Park Dentistry means I can build on existing galleries with consistent lighting, style and tone.

Interior, Exterior & Branding Images

In addition to lifestyle images, I also photographed the clinic’s entrance, signage, and interior spaces. These kinds of shots are often overlooked but make a big difference across a website – particularly for new patients trying to get a feel for the place before their first visit.
