It’s always a pleasure returning to Primley Park Dentistry, a North Leeds clinic I’ve worked with on a few occasions over the years. This visit focused on creating a fresh set of headshots and behind-the-scenes images, helping them update their website and internal materials. We started with individual portraits using a plain grey backdrop, with a tethered laptop setup so each member of staff could choose their favourite shot on the spot — a simple process that saves time and avoids the usual back-and-forth after the shoot.
As well as portraits, I captured the friendly atmosphere of the team at work. The receptionist on a call, dentists chatting around a laptop, and natural moments like a quick team huddle or a reassuring exchange with a patient. These images are ideal for practices wanting to show the human side of what they do — the warmth and professionalism that make all the difference to patient experience.
The shoot also included technical elements: the 3D scanner, the X-ray machine in use, and wide interior shots of the practice itself. Primley Park Dentistry has a bright, modern feel that comes through really well in photos. It’s a space that feels calm and welcoming — and that’s something worth showing to new visitors long before they walk through the door.
This session builds on my long-standing relationship with Primley Park Dentistry, which began back in 2014 when I created their Google Street View – virtual tour – one of the first dental practices I worked with in that format. I’ve since returned to photograph staff-patient interactions and their children’s area with my kids in a later shoot, which you can see in more detail in my blog about Leeds Clinic Primley Park Dentistry.
