Lucy asked me to design a text print in black and white with a list of world wide destinations her brother had been to in his life. This was going to be a personalised gift for her brother’s 40th birthday present so it had to be well presented in a complimentary frame. We had to squeeze each memorable place into one line in order to keep the artwork attractive without it being excessively busy with text. I sent a couple of versions to Lucy and we then narrowed it down to this final piece.

Thanks for creating such a great gift! My brother loved it and it was nice to be able to give him something so completely unique for his 40th.
It’s also fair to say that I landed this idea on Bevan at the last minute but he pulled out all the stops to come up with a really stylish design.
This is the second time my husband and I have called on Bevan’s creativity to help us with personalised gifts and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to others. I love Bevan’s work 🙂
