Mint Interiors wanted promotional photographs of their new brochure so they could advertise it via an e-mail marketing campaign and over social media. I dropped into their office in Chapel Allerton, Leeds to discuss it with them and we decided that it would be nice to see the brochure in a setting where you’d normally find it. As the brochure was to sell curtains and blinds to the new home owners of a new build property site then we decided to pick a local site that had a marketing suite which promoted the houses on the plot. In practice this is where potential new home owners would browse the collection so it worked as an ideal backdrop for the work.
I put together a mood board of various ways this could be photographed so Mint Interiors could visualise the different ways and make some choices before the shoot. Then, when I was on site, I was able to photograph it in three different styles. I was then asked to prioritise a few of the photographs so they had some images to work with before I finished off the job.
