My first Scottish Wedding and my first wedding of 2014 for Lisa and Neil Harris. I drove up through Edinburgh and pulled up outside Garvock House Hotel in Dunfermline and although the January weather didn’t look too promising the homely grounds of the wedding venue filled me with excitement for some great Scottish Wedding Photography.
I started my day in Lisa’s honeymoon suite and found her about to break open the bubbly, she had wedding clothes, gifts and flowers all nicely laid out creatively so I quickly grabbed the opportunity to take photographs before they were moved. I popped downstairs to capture everything from the Garvock House Hotel Wedding ceremony room to the trinkets and wedding favours that would be used later that day. I then continued to follow Lisa and Neil throughout their wedding day so they would have a photographic memory from start to finish to look back on for days to come.
It was great to see the Scottish way of doing things and it added that little something extra to my usual wedding photography session, from the wedding Kilts and the Sporran to the Whisky and the wedding Bagpiper. Lisa and Neil made my day really easy and enjoying and I wish them all the very best in their future life together, congratulations!
The rest of the photos will follow shortly here but for now here’s a small collection!
