So strange for Leeds to be so quiet at one of my favourite events of the year. Light Night 2020 still managed to deliver Laser Light City with some impressive Art in the Dark from Seb Lee-Delisle. The shoot was such a different one to the event I shot at Victoria Gate & Wellington Place last year in 2019, the team at Laser Light City have done a fantastic job at keeping this event going in such strange circumstances with Covid-19 keeping us from parading down the streets of Leeds, I was so pleased to be out and photographing it with one of my favourite clients MEPC at Wellington Place. They have joined forces with Bridgewater Place, Victoria Gate, Platform, University of Leeds at the Parkinson Building & Merrion House to shoot lasers into the sky which the people of Leeds can control from home or from their mobiles whilst out and about. A clever, social distanced event that lets families still take part and see the show from wherever they are in Leeds.
