Every actor/actress needs a recent portrait photograph of how they look, this avoids the casting crew getting a surprise when they walk through the door to audition for a role in a tv, film or theatre production. David Smith recently asked if I could capture a new headshot for him so I drove over to his house near Keighley and spent a couple of hours with him, trying a few different locations near his house in North Yorkshire. Below are just a couple of the final images he choose from the few hundred I took. I then made a final edit and converted his last chosen 15 images to Black and White so he had a colour and B&W version of each photo.
